At KRAVNET our aim is to bring instructors together to share practical self-defence skills by running events, courses and cross training in relevant combat sports. By continued development of your own skills, you can create and deliver better self-defence training events, drills and concepts to your own students and clients.
Join an expanding national network focused on good quality self-defence training. We're Krav Maga based but all similar self-defence styles are welcome to train and share with us at KRAVNET.
We're not a governing body or federation, so we don't enforce any politics or rigid syllabus (although we do have our own one and we're happy to share, if you want to use it). Our aim is to create a neutral home where independant clubs, instructors and their students can continue learning and developing their skills, with top-tier local and international experts from Krav Maga and other relevant combat styles.
Start your journey with zero costs for the first 3 months and connect with a community that’s focused on real skills, efficient & high energy training. You have the freedom to take what you need from our events, to improve or refresh your own training the way you want to. We can share skills & knowledge... But ultimately, how you deliver the training to your clients & club members is always YOUR choice.
This full-day workshop takes you inside a decommissioned aircraft fitted with special/media effects, to experience what it’s like to be inside a hijack or aggressive passenger situation. You will understand how to avoid being the focus of attention for hijacker, which could lead to you being singled out for hostage negotiation, interrogation or worse.
The event will consist of learning how to handle and use firearms safely.
During the weekend course, there will be some basic shooting tactics combined with Krav Maga weapons based techniques. Participants will enjoy plenty of live shooting & self defence drills.
Our basic Instructor course is taught over 2 x week-long modules (Monday to Sunday). Part 1 of the instructor course is 13-19 July & Part 2 is 7-12 September 2026. You must be part of a recognised Krav Maga club, with a recommendation from your instructor or have an experienced background in a striking based combat system.
Team TKM present a 'Hostage by Handgun' seminar. Work on some basic last resort defences against handgun threats.
When there is no other option and your mindset, skill level and will to survive all align, some basic knowledge (and a lot of practice), could save your life, in a hostage or gun threat situation.

Meet Nick Maison, the London based driving force behind KRAVNET. With well over 20 years of teaching Krav Maga all over the UK and indeed many parts of the world, Nick’s been in the trenches, literally and figuratively. As a former British Royal Army Physical Training Corps, Sergeant Instructor who served 14 years, he traded military life in 2003 for something closer to home. That’s when he discovered Krav Maga. A raw, practical self-defence system that hooked him instantly. Since 2004, he’s been sharing that passion, running classes, leading instructor courses, teachig uniformed and armed services and even choreographing fight scenes for movies while training celebrities on the side. For Nick, it’s not about titles or rigid structures; it’s about real skills that work when it counts.
Nick’s taught thousands of regular folks, a few hundred instructors and everyone in between, how to defend themselves, get fit, and deliver structured and practical training themselves. Having once led the UK charge as the UK Training Director for big-name Krav Maga organisations Krav Maga Global (KMG) and the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF), he’s now all about sharing, training and developing independent instructors and clubs. From corporate gigs to private sessions, he’s built a community that’s as diverse as it is dedicated, blending Krav Maga with influences from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and his Army unarmed combat roots. Whether he’s breaking down a street-smart technique or laughing with students after class, Nick’s mission is clear.
Why KRAVNET? “In 2025, after 20 years being part of a big organisations, I decided to hang up my global instructor gloves and move towards being an independant training provider. I know how comfortable it can be cruising along with large organisation but it's difficult when you have different ways to implement training or techniques but are restricted. At KRAVNET everyone's voice is heard and we adapt our training to fit your needs and not the other way around.
Join our network today and start attending our events. We hope to meet you soon.
